Privacy policy

HEMERA PHOTO SPRL / BVBA undertakes to protect the privacy of personal information provided by our customers:

1. When registering;

2. When placing an order;

3. When transferring your images.

Our customers’ personal information is used to create and deliver products ordered, to contact customers in the event of a problem relating to an order, and to inform them of Hemera Photo SPRL offers and services..

Consultation, amendment and deletion of personal information

Pursuant to European directives, customers have the right to access and amend the details of names and personal information supplied by them. Virtually all data can be consulted and amended directly in the customer’s My Account section.

Sensitive data, such as credit card details, are never saved on our servers for security reasons. This information is transferred directly to our partner Ogone (url) in a secure manner. Should you require further information, see secure payments.

You may amend your details at any time. Only the user name you chose upon registration cannot be changed.

Customers may close their accounts at any time. In order to do so, you must send us a written request using the contact form, by mail or  fax. Once we have verified your identity on the account, access to the My Account section and to any photos will now be denied to you. Your email address will simultaneously be deleted from all distribution lists. For technical reasons, the data will not be finally deleted for a period of 14 days. It is therefore possible that customers may receive emails from the company during this time..

Illegal content and protection of minors

All photographs deemed offensive under legislative and regulatory provisions and according to our ethical standards will be deleted without notice and HEMERA PHOTO SPRL / BVBA will subsequently inform the user of their breach of the usage conditions of our services. Should a user repeatedly breach the published usage conditions, HEMERA PHOTO SPRL / BVBA reserves the right to deny such user access to the website without notice, to transmit the user’s details to the relevant authorities for legal action to be instigated, and to delete from the website all image files belonging to the user. The same provisions apply to photographs which infringe copyright.

Amendment of data protection declaration

HEMERA PHOTO SPRL / BVBA reserves the right to amend the data protection declaration. Changes will be published here and will be valid as of the time of publication. HEMERA PHOTO SPRL / BVBA has the right to inform you of these changes by sending you a personal email, regardless of whether or not you subscribe to our newsletters. Some changes implemented by HEMERA PHOTO SPRL / BVBA may require the customer explicitly to consent to the new conditions before they can continue to use our services.
